Previous pageShipping & Delivery Policy for Containers Corner
Last Updated: September 12, 2025
This policy outlines the shipping and delivery process for all container purchases made through the Containers Corner website. By completing a purchase, you agree to the terms and conditions described below.
1. Shipping Costs & Quotes
Shipping costs are an additional charge and are not included in the container’s listed price. The final delivery fee is calculated at checkout based on your location, the container’s size, and the current market rates for freight and logistics.
2. Estimated Delivery Timelines
Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. Once your order is confirmed, we will provide you with an estimated delivery window, typically within 7-14 business days. This timeline can be affected by factors outside of our control, such as weather conditions, traffic, or unforeseen logistical challenges.
3. Customer Responsibilities
To ensure a smooth delivery, it is your responsibility to prepare for the container’s arrival. This includes:
- Site Accessibility: You must ensure the delivery location is accessible to a large semi-truck and trailer. This means having a wide, clear path free of low-hanging branches, power lines, steep inclines, or any other obstacles that could impede a safe delivery.
- Prepared Ground: The offloading site must be a firm, level, and hard surface capable of supporting the weight of the container and the delivery truck. Soft ground, mud, or unpaved areas may result in a failed delivery attempt.
- Unloading Space: The area must have sufficient space for the truck to maneuver and offload the container. A 20-foot container requires approximately 60 feet of straight clearance, while a 40-foot container requires approximately 100 feet.
4. Failed Delivery Attempts
If a delivery is attempted but cannot be completed due to the delivery site not meeting the requirements outlined above, it will be considered a failed delivery. In such cases, you will be responsible for any redelivery fees and additional charges incurred.
5. Delivery Confirmation & Inspection
You, or an authorized representative, must be present at the delivery location to sign for the container and accept the delivery. We strongly recommend that you carefully inspect the container upon arrival, before the driver leaves. Once the Bill of Lading is signed and the container is accepted, you are confirming that the container is in a satisfactory condition and matches your order.
